Ex-Minister of Transport & Protocol, M.S & General Secretary, Mahatma Gandhi
Vidyamandir, established Mahilaratna Pushpatai Hiray Arts, Science and Commerce Mahila
Mahavidyalaya in June 1990, especially for girls. The college is located in the heart of
Malegaon City 110 km from Nashik. The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune
University, Pune and recognised under UGC section 2 (f) in June 1999 and under section
12(b) in June 2002.
The college has been re-accredited 'B' grade by NAAC. The Institute maintains
academic excellence, personality development and overall grooming of the students.
The institute is currently offering 18 programs of which 15 are of undergraduate level
and 03 are of post graduate level. It has been imparting education in three streams: Arts,
Science and Commerce. The college is the first and only college from Savitribai Phule Pune
University to provide 'Music' at PG level. Being an affiliated college it adopts the curriculum
and syllabi designed by SPPU, Pune.
Further the college has provided an opportunity to the students for various courses
conducted at college and departmental level. In our 33 years of academic service, we have
developed the necessary constructs for imparting value based education.
