The vision and mission of the college closely follows the motto and vision of our
management.
A clean and green campus awaits all young girls and women with hopes, dreams and
aspirations. The 21 st Century demands skills, abilities and a positive learning disposition
and we are here to foster it at our institute.
Our institute aims to nurture discipline along with human values at a very young age.
The all round holistic development of students is of prime importance along with
academics. We strive to inculcate love and quest for knowledge as we believe our
students are the global citizen of tomorrow. Our role is to empower all the young
women and make them lifelong learners. Skill Development initiatives are undertaken
for the overall mental and physical growth of the students.
Our institute is a recipient of DBT star college Scheme at undergraduate level that lays
special emphasis on practical training for science students. Besides B.A./ B. Sc/ B.Com
we run B.Voc Diploma courses and certificate courses to enrich the teaching learning
experience and to enhance employability skills.
The competitive exam cell and placement cell work hard in hand. Our students have
cleared NET/SET exam and many of them are self-employed or doing jobs.
At our institute we create an ecosystem of employability research aptitude,
competitiveness and develop a sense of personality development through sports and
culture. The department of Psychology also runs a counseling center for students.
All departmental activities are undertaken under blended mode.
Our Music department is the one and only department in Savitribai Phule Pune
University, Pune that offers post-graduate degree in “Raga Sangeet Gyan” for women.
The well qualified and dedicated staff of the college looks after the overall personality
development of the girls along with their academics. Our students have excelled in NSS,
Sports, cultural events, Project competitions, debating competitions at University level
and have also been toppers in University examinations.
